Ben Smith – Doctor of Chiropractic
Qualified from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic, one of the top training facilities in the world, having gained an Honours degree in Neuromusculoskeletal sciences and a Masters degree in Chiropractic Sciences. He has since specialised in Advanced Clinical Management and techniques such as SOT.
Ben decided to become a chiropractor after he was greatly helped with an injury he sustained working on his family farm.
Ben opened his own clinic in Burton on Trent in 2007 (Stapenhill Chiropractic Clinic) and in 2009 founded the Back Room Chiropractic Clinic in Birmingham. He continues to help patients at both sites.
He has helped a vast array of patients from all backgrounds; he has helped top level athletes including premiership footballers and Olympic athletes. .
He has also worked as a mentor to trainee chiropractors.
He loves all things agricultural, and one of his hobbies is restoring his grandfather’s vintage tractor.

Narinder Barhey- Practice Manager
Narinder has worked with Ben since he started his own clinic in 2007. She has benefited greatly from chiropractic care. Having a history of back and neck problems, she has remained well with maintenance treatment over the last ten years.
Narinder enjoys sports, such as swimming, cycling and walking, though currently most of her free time is taken up with her two young children.
Christine White- Practice Administration
Christine’s is the first face you will see when you come to the Clinic. As our ‘front of house’ she has an invaluable knowledge of the Clinic and the local area. She has a great manner to help put patients at ease. Christine does a lot of charity work in her spare time, which the Back Room Chiropractic Clinic are proud to support her with.
Lindsey Brown- Practice Administration
Lindsey works alongside Chris in reception. She is greatly experienced at working in a clinical setting. She fits in her work at the Clinic alongside her other roles as a Nail Carer and Swedish Masseuse. She has recently returned to work after maternity leave.
Kirsty Smith- Practice Administration
Kirsty will be a familiar face to our well established client base. She was a receptionist when the Clinic first opened. Her role has now evolved to encompass more administrative work.
She has a great passion for horse riding and in her spare time helps to train racehorses. She also works to support charities that help to find a cure for Pulmonary Hypertension, a cause that is very close to her heart.
Julia Noble- Practice Adminstration
Julia helps with cross cover of reception. She is Ben’s mum, and would be happy to tell a tale or two about our favourite chiropractor!
Julia is passionate about the great outdoors.
